About the Marketing Committee

The Partnership's Marketing/Regional Promotion Committee is responsible for the overall direction and control of the marketing and planning activities at the agency. The purpose of the Partnership's Communications Plan is to provide members and others in the San Gabriel Valley with a comprehensive set of tools to build a regional identity for the SGV, attract workers to live and/or work in the SGV, and attract business and investments to the SGV. This Plan is about promoting the region as a distinct entity, not the Partnership. Although the SGVEP may be able to utilize the proposed promotional tools for their own economic development activities and advocacy efforts regarding regional issues, the primary beneficiaries will be the many business and municipalities that make up the San Gabriel Valley.

Project Goals:
  • Increase awareness of the San Gabriel Valley and its many superb assets
  • Build an image of the San Gabriel Valley as a distinct region in southern California
  • Attract talented people to live and work in the San Gabriel Valley
  • Attract new businesses or investments to the region
  • Provide a meaningful information source about the San Gabriel Valley
