Reyna Del Haro is the Director of Public Affairs for the Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center. She joined the organization in January 2000 and oversees government and community relations, internal and external communications, media relations, and community benefit for the San Gabriel Valley. Kaiser Permanente is the nation’s leading integrated health plan and serves the health care needs of more than 8.6 million members in nine states and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Reyna was the Director of Operations for the West Covina Chamber of Commerce for 10 years. Reyna is an active member of the community and serves on a variety of boards including the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership, Regional Chamber of Commerce, Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills, University of La Verne College of Business & Management, California Hispanic Corporate Council Leadership Institute, San Gabriel Valley Public Affairs Network, and Rio Hondo College Foundation. She is also a governor’s appointee on the Board of Directors of the School’s Agriculture and Nutrition Program for the 48th District. Reyna is the recipient of numerous awards, which include Assemblyman Ron Calderon’s 2005 Women of the Year, YWCA of San Gabriel Valley Women of Achievement, Assemblyman Dr. Ed Hernandez Woman of the Year, Cal State Los Angeles Hispanic Business Society Executive of the Year, San Gabriel Valley NAACP, Assemblymember Judy Chu’s Latino Heritage Health Care Award, and the Spirit of Volunteerism Award from the Volunteer Center of San Gabriel Valley. |
