Anthony Tang is the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Cathay Bank. He has grown with the company over the past 25 years and has served several positions with Cathay Bank, inlcduding Vice President and Manager of an $80 million branch located in the city of Monterey Park. Prior to 1979, he worked at Crocker National Bank and Lloyds Bank California. Anthony Tang received his B.S. in Business Administration with a major in international finance from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He is a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity and was selected as Chairman of the Finance Committee in 1975. He then received his M.B.A. in finance and management also from the University of Southern California, Graduate School of Business. Mr. Tang also attended the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. Tang currently serves on the Board of Directors for the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership and is actively involved with several leading community organizations. Long-time San Gabriel Valley resident and businessman, Tang is an important part of the region’s growth and change. |
